Epee Summer Fencing Camps

FENCING CAMP SUMMER SESSIONS AT AFA Session 1:  June 8-12 Session 2:  June 15 - June 19 Session 3:  July 20-24 Session 4:  Aug 3-7 CAMP COSTS $250 per session for AFA Members $300 per session for non-AFA Members      $80 per day for partial sessions

Alamo Fencing Academy in San Antonio, Texas is offering four five-day sessions of summer fencing camps open to beginning, intermediate and advanced fencers.   Fencers will be divided into groups depending on their age and skill levels.

Equipment All equipment will be provided at each fencing camp for our beginning fencers.  Intermediate and advanced fencers should bring their own equipment.

Facility (location) Each fencing camp will take place at our facility which is conveniently located at 961 Isom Rd., San Antonio, Texas.  We have 6 regulation size electric strips, and two coaching strips.

Hours and Lunch Fencing camp will start each morning at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.  Lunch will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.; campers should bring their own drinks, snacks, and lunches.  Movies will be watched during lunch.

Program and Activities Daily training and individual instruction at each fencing camp will be geared to help the fencer strengthen fundamentals and tactical skills.

Coaches Head Coach Andrei Samorodov has extensive experience working with and instructing children, teenagers and adults in fencing.  Assistant Coach Oksana Samorodov is a favorite among children and brings extensive tournament experience for teenagers and adults interested in competitive fencing or just learning the basics.  For more information, click HERE.
